A Moment to Breathe

Updated: 1 day ago

I love this time of year ✨

The temperature is just right—beautiful autumn sunshine paired with crisp evenings perfect for relaxing by the fire. It’s the season for cosy jackets, your favourite hoodie, and slowing down just a little.

A Moment to Breathe

I’m writing this from the ocean, and it’s reminded me of something simple but important—how different the body feels when it actually has space to slow down.

No rushing, no constant stimulation… just fresh air, and time to breathe.

It’s made me reflect on how many of us are moving through our days in a constant state of “go,” even when we’re exhausted.

Which is why this month, I want to focus on something really important—supporting your nervous system, especially if you’ve been feeling tired, wired, or just not quite yourself.

With Mother’s Day also arriving this month, it feels like the perfect time to gently shift some of that care inward.

What’s New at NatraColl Health

This month, I've been working busily behind the scenes—creating new handouts filled with simple tips and tricks to help you keep your body moving and supported from the inside out.

You’ll start to see these appear on the website in the resources section. See the link below.

If there’s something specific you’d like to learn more about, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help.

Mother’s Day 💐

Sunday 10th May

Mother’s Day is just around the corner—a beautiful reminder to pause and celebrate the women who give so much of themselves, every single day.

Whether it’s your mum, a mother figure, a new mum, or even yourself (because yes, that absolutely counts), this is the perfect moment to do something meaningful.

This year, make it personal. It could be a quiet moment of relaxation, a thoughtful experience, or simply time carved out to feel appreciated and cared for.

Give the gift of choice

Gift cards are available if you’d like to give something thoughtful and flexible—whether it’s a relaxing massage at home or guidance on a natural health journey she’s been wanting to begin.

Make time for what matters

Plan something she’ll truly enjoy—a slow morning, a shared experience, or a moment just for herself. Often, the most meaningful gifts aren’t things, but time and intention.

A gentle reminder

If you are the one who is always giving, this is your time to receive. Take a breath. Enjoy the moment. You deserve it.

The Nervous System Reset Blog Series – Part Four

Stress and Fatigue: Why You’re So Tired All the Time

If you’ve been feeling more tired than usual lately… you’re not alone.

In my upcoming blog later this month, I’ll be sharing reflections on stress, fatigue, and why so many of us are running on empty—along with simple ways to come back to balance.

If you’ve missed the earlier blogs in this series, you can pop over to the website and catch up anytime.

For now, consider this your permission slip to pause, breathe, and do something that feels good.

Full Moon in Scorpio 🌕

Saturday 2nd May

Scorpio brings a deeper, more introspective energy, inviting you to explore what’s beneath the surface.

This Full Moon may highlight themes around intimacy, connection, and emotional healing. It’s a powerful time to release what no longer feels aligned—old patterns, lingering tension, or unhelpful conversations.

There’s also strong energy for transformation and growth, particularly around personal power and your direction moving forward.

New Moon in Taurus 🌑

Sunday 17th May

This Super New Moon in Taurus brings a gentle, grounding energy—perfect for a fresh start, especially around your health, home, and sense of stability.

Taurus encourages you to slow down, reconnect with what feels nourishing, and build a steady foundation moving forward.

It’s a beautiful time to refresh your space, reset your routines, and nurture relationships that support you.

A gentle reminder this month 🤍

This is a powerful time of release and renewal—letting go of what the body has been holding onto and creating space for something softer to come in.

Old patterns, past stress, and unresolved tension can quietly sit within the nervous system, often showing up as fatigue or that constant feeling of being “on.”

As you move through this month, see if you can offer yourself a little more space to slow down, rest, and reconnect with what feels safe and supportive.

When the body feels supported, it naturally opens—allowing more ease, more energy, and a greater capacity for connection and love.

In the Garden 🌱

How are your gardens looking? Mine are loving the cooler weather and absolutely thriving.

With the temperature dropping, it’s a good time to protect plants from the cold night air. I like to use sugar cane mulch to help regulate temperature and retain moisture in the soil.

Watering is best done in the morning now, to avoid excess moisture sitting overnight in the cold air.

It’s also a great time to trim deciduous trees, fruit trees, and roses.

If you’re planting for winter, try broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, ginger and garlic.

Happy gardening 🌿

Warmly,

Collette
