Keep warm this winter with Nourshing, grounded meals.

The Nervous System Reset. Keep warm with nourishing winter foods.

Winter has arrived

It’s time to bring out the slow cooker and create delicious, earthy meals using the root vegetables you’ve planted and nurtured.

This month is all about gut healing

Winter is the perfect time of year to truly nourish your gut with hearty, comforting meals.

Take advantage of the cooler months and enjoy slow-cooked dishes that are gentle on the digestive system. Slow cooking helps break down food, making nutrients more easily absorbed and digestion more comfortable.

Add warming spices such as turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon to support digestion and enhance flavour. My personal favourite is cinnamon spice — it’s a digestive calmative and also regulates blood glucose levels.

What’s new at NatraColl Health

Although I am based on the Sunshine Coast, Naturopathic services are available online, allowing you to have a consultation from the comfort of your own home.

During your consultation, we’ll explore what you feel is out of balance. You’ll receive a personalised treatment plan to help you get your balance back delivered straight to your inbox. You do not need to worry about prescriptions, I will have them delivered directly to your door — simple and convenient.

I also travel to the Tweed Coast almost monthly. If you’re in this area, you can book a face-to-face consultation with me at Banora Physical Therapies. If you’d like to arrange an in-person appointment, please get in touch.

If you haven’t visited the website recently, take a look — it’s had a makeover, with a focus on the Nervous System Reset and more information about how NatraColl Health can support you. New free resources are also being added. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to learn more about.

The Nervous System Reset Blog Series – Part Five

The Gut–Stress Connection: When Anxiety Hits Your Belly

We all experience stress differently, but the underlying impact is often the same. When stress becomes ongoing, it can significantly affect digestive function.

Stress may reduce nutrient absorption and leave you feeling sluggish after eating, as your body diverts energy toward managing stress rather than efficiently digesting food.

In this month’s blog, I explore this gut–stress connection in more detail and share practical tips to help support and nourish your body during stressful times.

Keep an eye out — it will be released on 15 June 2026.

Micro Full Moon in Capricorn

Tuesday 30th June

This Full Moon brings grounded, focused energy — a reminder that you absolutely can achieve what you’ve set out to do.

It’s a powerful time to plan with clarity, refine your goals, and commit to a strategic path forward.

Be ready to bust through obstacles in your career with determination and structure.

Don’t forget to take action — consistency is what turns vision into reality.

Monthly moon Summary 🌙

June invites a balance of inspired beginnings and grounded action. The Gemini New Moon encourages curiosity, expression, and fresh ideas, while the Capricorn Full Moon supports structure, discipline, and tangible progress.

Together, they remind us: dream it, speak it, plan it, and then build it.

In the Garden 🌱

The garden is flourishing with all the recent rain. We’ve picked our first potatoes for the season — such an exciting moment. There’s something truly special about putting your hand into the soil and discovering a potato waiting there.

Our sweet potatoes are also coming along well and will likely be ready soon. The cabbage and cauliflower are almost ready for harvest, and we have an abundance of spinach, along with tomatoes, and a beautiful variety of herbs and rhizomes. So much goodness right at our fingertips.

We feel very blessed to enjoy food we’ve grown ourselves — it’s such a grounding and rewarding experience.

In June, we’ll be planting chamomile, dill, lavender, beetroot, carrots, beans, and rocket.

Enjoy your winter produce 😊

Warmly,

Collette
